Im doing Sociolinguistics. Need help. Know Research articles abt Social Networks & their effects on languages?

I'm a Sociolinguitcs majoring student. I have been asked by my lecturer to find good research articles by legitimate researchers relating to Ethnicity, Social Networking - Gender and Age and their effects on languages. I'm from Malaysia, and lecturer wants me to find something outside this country. The articles must be more than 3 page long. My due date is early February. Please help me. Thank you.
