My Uggs discolored (spotched with a rust color-the boots are sand)when I cleaned them. Can they be saved?HELP!?
I used gentle dish soap on a gentle brush with hot water to wash my tall Sand Mosaic Uggs. I hit them with the sprayer; I did not submerge them... This worked a year ago, but this time there were stubborn ares which did not come clean. I used Oxy Clean, diluted on a brush. After I rinsed them and set them by the fire to dry, they looked lovely, but during drying, they developed splotchy, rust-colored stains. I think they are ruined, but thought I would give a try here before I pitch them. My mom suggested using diluted hydrogen perioxide on them as a last resort-- thoughts?
