My parents are no longer with me. I NEED A REAL PARENTS ADVICE please please?

Ok well Im in my 20's. I'm currently studying environmental biology in school. I got offered an incredible opportunity to go study in the rainforest for 2 months this summer in Costa Rica under 2 Biologists on an environmental research and preservation mission. What would you say to your child? Take it dont take it? (Im a bit nervous because its 4000miles away from home) What advice would you give? or what would you mention that i may not be thinking about since Im all giddy???
