Midget B/BB age and skill level?

I am thinking of signing up to play on a local hockey team. I started playing just 5 months ago. I have never played in a game though, i just go to "Sticks N' Pucks" which is just shooting around and playing little games (no hitting etc.) The league I would play in is a Midget BB House League. Can anyone tell me if this would be totally out of my skill level? Would other kids on it be really good and kick my *** or what? Or would it be perfect for me? Thanks
