Question about employment?

Ok...I was due to start training last week...but the store got audited....so the manager told me i'd start today...11/22/2010...the entire week it's been nothing but drama...and in the end the manager that hired has been suspended until....so i called the store today and asked do i still come in and temp/replacement manager said he didn't know and said he had to talk to his DM(District Manager)...ok...so my question is can i be fired or not be put on the schedule because of what went on with the manager that is suspended....
