Who can help me understand english literature?

what i need is one to be intouch with(sort of expert or at least better than me) so that if i wanted critics on some works or interpretation of them that person can help me work it out.i am a university student and i badly need help in this case.sometimes i come across idioms ,expressions,and words that cant find in any dictionary or encyclopedia.if one is going to help me here is my e-mail;aomidkabir@yahoo.com
