Good badminton tricks for beginning/intermediate players?

I am the captain of my school's badminton team and I'm looking for some simple strategies for us to use. We have some really good players too, so fairly advanced ideas would also be appreciated. Please, only answer if you play badminton. I don't need links to Wikipedia.
